I did not comment on the episode soundtrack which recycles music from both original Black Cat Mansion and from Madol (part 19), both being on the same scary/horror theme.

Here comes the bonus episode made for the second LD-Box in 1993 (the complete one). This is also the last anime production of the series for years to come, until the ‘New Century’ revival attempt made in the 2000s (but not the last episode number for some reason). It’s funny for a series rooted in the 80s, to be contemporary to titles like La Blue Girl, Urotsukidoji part III and to be just one year before the Pink Pineapple boom.

A sequel to the original Black Cat Mansion episode (part 11), it follows the life of Murakami 30 years after he escaped the mansion and witnessed the patriotic war against evil yankees, the atomic bombings, the turmoils happening during the post-war economic boom (mostly caused by leftists and syndicates according to the recap lol). Now life is all about sport cars, fridges and color televisions! But our protagonist sees a strange announcement on the newspaper and is dragged again inside the dark mansion… Will he discover the secret of eternal life? Or will he just hump all day long the females living there? Will Halloween stop being yet another consumerist event?

The episode is interesting not only for its share of scary scenes, but also for the discussions between the sex scenes, it would feel philosophical if it was not a justification for the endless amount of sex Anyway enjoy the last-but-one classic release (wooo!) of the only zombie team on the fansub world!

After 2020 year of the butthurt, 2021 year of the salvation? At least #lamonae@irc.rizon.net provides some relief on these difficult times, with the last bits of the Ami storyline if you ignore the few remakes.

The farewell concerts are coming to a close, and all protagonists are facing their destiny... Ami has to make a decision once for all about her life, and maybe it will a surprising one. No more spoils ahead, but I will still make a few more comments:

• Each episode of Ami Sorekara had a different character design, the one of this episode having at the same time the most mature design and the worst animation quality.
• The production of the series had several delays, especially this episode which was due in March 1989, finally came one year later, moveover after the Tsutomu Miyazaki events. It is also the last fresh episode to be produced by Fairy Dust until 2001, except the two specials which came with the various compilation boxes (coming soon :o)). It was animated by the APPP Studio which renamed itself to 'Studio 88' during the production (renaming back to APPP later on).
• The featured song of this episode has exactly the same melody than a Moritaka Chisato song featured on her "New Season" album and called "Ringoshu no Rule". The album was released in 1987 so the Ami version is probably a cover (pirate?) version. It is striking that there was no music release at the time, even so the song is present in the LD-Box extras.

The extra special episodes will conclude the fansub of the main series, yes we are going to finish it :D

Slightly modified lyrics of a liverpudlian song to remind you the current times of trouble. Thankfully the goddess of hentai drama relieves us from our mortal sins, or something like that.

Following the events of part 1 (see there for the story introduction), the preparation of Ami's concert continues, despite the main protagonist being in mental turmoil after the return of her two ex-lovers. In today's episode all meaty scenes are featuring Kono the ultimate 80's gigolo in town. Also you get a nice demonstration of his car functionalities in one of them :3

Ready for the first lewd release of the year from the crazy folks of #lamonae@irc.rizon.net ?

This episode is another part of the mangaka series, this time offered by Amagi Kei, another famous mangaka of the late 80s-early 90s. Not that I have found the exact source of this work, but it seems to be a combination of some of his oneshot contributions. He is also known for works like Maid Delivery Service and Stainless Night, the latter being adapted into animation. Censorship is rather strong but it is a sign of the dark times when it was produced, as I explained for episode 29.

Sex Ed is something some you may still be facing, if so this episode is for you. For the guys, how to please your lady properly and not become a quickshot?
