O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

What the Fairy Dust executives had in mind for setting their first new episode production withing two years in Canada? Because it’s the only country where maple syrup flows on the streets and where french and english speaking people can stand each other? Maybe they were inspired by another national symbol, the beaver, which is also a slang for female private parts :P

In this episode made as a ‘bonus’ of the first Laserdisc box, our inexperienced (‘blue’ as used in Japan for ‘green’) hero is going to learn about life there in all aspects, from fishing in the countryside to getting “intimate” with a relative while hiding from a heavy rain! Hint: the episode sub-title tells on who is going to score with him :). It’s really a family affair, even the dog takes part on the fun, so be warned for incest and animal scenes.

For the real anime freaks, the voice actress of Angie (Kotono Mitsuishi) is a celebrity. She had major roles in regular animation, to name the most famous, Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon), Misato Katsuragi (Evangelion), Excel, Mireille Bouquet (Noir), Juri Arisugawa (Utena), and last but not least, Ebichu! So it’s funny to hear her ‘pant’ voice for a change.

Enjoy the holidays if you can, as I said once before, we will see the light out of the tunnel (applies to the whole world, as much as to our team lol). The last bits of the classic series will come soon hopefully :D

There is no known physical release of the featured song (My Love そして… = My Love Soshite...), except the Ami CD offered in one LD-box, but you never know if it was not covered by (or stolen from?) a jpop idol. I'm saying that because of the other song featured in the last episode, but I'll come to that in due time.

After 6 months of sickness laziness the #lamonae@irc.rizon.net people rise from their (future) graves to offer you a follow-up to the Ami Sorekara drama story.

For those who haven’t died yet, the preparation of the Ami concerts in Budokan continue (4 days in a row, much wow, much celebrity). Once again Kono and his sexy assistant are having fun, so this episode is almost routine, isn’t it? Not completely, since Ami and her Onii-chan finally meet face to face, to end up with (spoil). At the end of the episode we get to hear the first complete song featured in the concert, a pretty uptempo tune. If you like it, you can hear it again and again on the OST compilation release :o)

Hopefully the last episode will be released this year, so keep the faith and stay away from sick people (and white cops and corrupt politicians while you’re at it).

Ready for the first lewd release of the year from the crazy folks of #lamonae@irc.rizon.net ?

This episode is another part of the mangaka series, this time offered by Amagi Kei, another famous mangaka of the late 80s-early 90s. Not that I have found the exact source of this work, but it seems to be a combination of some of his oneshot contributions. He is also known for works like Maid Delivery Service and Stainless Night, the latter being adapted into animation. Censorship is rather strong but it is a sign of the dark times when it was produced, as I explained for episode 29.

Sex Ed is something some you may still be facing, if so this episode is for you. For the guys, how to please your lady properly and not become a quickshot? In the previous release comments I was joking at Murica, but this time the Fairy Dust folks took a stab at old Urop.

Based on a Yui Toshiki story with the same name, you can expect the sexy weirdness associated with the early works of the artist (see Wingding Orgy, Misty Girl or Hot Tails for what was translated into english). Our unnamed heroine will meet, among other things, a Sun Doll taxi driver, flying fishes, a talking upside-down mushroom, and greedy french frogs. The place is called “Europe”, but it looks more like what Europe has become after the migrant invasion cultural enrichment the continent is currently dealing with, a sort of dark middle-age place.

This episode and the next two were part of the “Mangaka Best Hit” series, being made by famous mangaka of the time. It had probably an ambitious lineup of episodes to come, but an event basically destroyed all those ambitions. On 23th of July 1989, a few months before the episodes releases, Miyazaki Tsutomu was arrested after having kidnapped, mutilated and killed several little girls. The so-called “Otaku Murderer” case (together with the economic bubble burst) triggered a backslash campaign against all “immoral” contents on anime, manga and games (being labeled adult of not). To avoid being targeted directly, the 3 episodes were cut in the initial release, all explicit sex scenes removed and the videos released as ‘general public’. Only 6 months later the ‘adult-only’ uncut episodes (but censored) were released. It is highly probable the expected sequel of Astalot was canceled for the same reason, and in general the lack of adult anime production between 1990 and 1994. But this is history now, just enjoy what has survived this dark period and happy fapping perverts :p
